Quality and environment

In line with its “the best of Austria” philosophy, unparalleled quality is paramount for Frisch & Frost. The raw ingredients are delivered to our facilities in Vienna and Hollabrunn in Lower Austria, where they are transformed into Bauernland and Toni Kaiser products in accordance with strict food safety standards, using state-of-the-art technology.


Extensive industry experience and constant innovation have helped Frisch & Frost to achieve market leadership in various segments, including potato salads, classic potato sides, soup garnishes, strudels and yeast dumplings. Our production processes are subject to constant checks and adjustments that underpin our leading position. External and internal audits are used to make sure that the processes and guidelines set out in the company’s quality management systems are adhered to. Audits and certification are important factors that have a major bearing on our customers’ purchasing decisions, while delivering the necessary assurances that their guests will only be served the very best products.

Hollabrunn and Vienna

Both sites are fully certified in accordance with American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards and the International Food Standard (IFS). Stringent HACCP checks shape our production processes, and regular inspections ensure that we meet the highest hygiene standards. Taste tests are conducted several times each day to ensure that our products come up to standard and comply fully with customer specifications. The Hollabrunn and Vienna production facilities have both been awarded organic certification. Multiple gold awards from the German Agricultural Society for several of our products, including our yeast dumplings, underscore our commitment to quality and innovation.
